Boilers

Wood Pellet Boilers:

- a clean alternative to fossil fuel boilers
- use fuel made from wood waste and grain
- need only minor maintenance
- burn very efficiently, minimising waste ash

Biodiesel Boilers:

- use fuel produced from vegetable oil
- use waste cooking oil
- are environmentally friendly:

Biodiesel is more biodegradable than sugar and less toxic than table salt (quote: US National Biodiesel Board)

Combined Heat and Power (CHP) Boilers:

- are generally small units
- contain an engine and generator
- can run on Gas, Biodiesel, Hydrogen
- heats water for the house heating system

The engine also drives a generator which can power the house. The electricity can also be fed back to the National Grid.
